EWIPA, inclusion and life after illness and injury

Marwa Almbaed has survived the Syrian war. She shared her own story to strengthen the protection of civilians in war zones and advocating for the implementation of the international EWIPA declaration.

Being a wheelchair user herself, she’s been working closely with international organizations for the inclusion of people with disability.

She’s using her own life experience to support people navigate life after illness or injury.
